Men's tennis to participate in D'Novo/ITA All-American Championships and UTC Fall Classic

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 30, 2010) - The ETSU men's tennis team will be participating in two tournaments this weekend as members will play in the 2010 D'Novo/ITA Men's Tennis All-American Championships, while others will participate in the UTC Fall Classic.
The nation's top male collegiate tennis players are slated to compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) first national event of the 2010-11 season. The tournament will include six rounds of prequalifying and qualifying matches beginning October 2 for both singles and doubles.
The University of Tulsa will be hosting the tournament for the fourth-straight year and for the sixth year overall. The event will take place at Case Tennis Center on the TU campus.

Other members of the team will participate in the 27th annual UTC Steve Baras Fall Classic Tennis Tournament. Play from Chattanooga will begin Friday morning and will conclude on Sunday.
The event will feature participants from 10 schools, including Eastern Kentucky, East Tennessee State, Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State, Lee University, Memphis, North Alabama, Samford, Tennessee Tech and UNC Greensboro.
