ETSU women's soccer to face 4th seeded Owls in A-Sun Quarterfinals

KENNESAW, Ga. (Oct. 29, 2010) - The fifth seeded ETSU women's soccer team is set to face fourth seeded Kennesaw State Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Atlantic Sun Quarterfinals at the KSU Soccer Stadium in Kennesaw, Ga.
ETSU (8-7-2, 4-5-1 A-Sun) picked up a 1-0 overtime win at USC Upstate last weekend to get into the tournament as the Bucs are making their fourth appearance in the last five seasons. The Buccaneers are led by junior Megan Masch (Virginia Beach, Va.) and senior Terri Miller (Cape Coral, Fla.). Masch was recently named to the A-Sun Second Team All-Conference as a goalkeeper, while Miller is tied for the team lead in goals with six.
Kennesaw State (8-7-2, 5-4-1 A-Sun) comes into the contest having gone 2-2-1 in its last five matches after falling to Mercer 1-0. The Owls are led by all-conference selections Alyssa Mahan and Alma Gardarsdottir. The Bucs have fared well against the Owls as of late going 2-2-1 in the last five contests, though KSU leads the all-time series 2-4-1.
