ETSU, Appalachian State softball doubleheader still on for Wednesday

Wednesday, March 30, 2011

Fans who wear pink receive $1 admission in conjunction with NFCA's StrikeOut Cancer Program

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 30, 2011) - Despite the rainfall to come through the Tri-Cities region on Wednesday morning, the ETSU softball team is still scheduled to take on Appalachian State in a non-conference doubleheader this evening at Betty Basler Field. First pitch is slated for 5 p.m.

The ETSU marketing department teamed up with the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) StrikeOut Cancer Program, so fans who wear pink to the games on Wednesday will receive admission for only $1.

Fans unable to make the trip to Johnson City can view all the action on A-Sun.TV (weather permitting), while live stats will be offered through Gametracker.
