WICHITA, Kan. (April 22, 2011)
- Junior Bo Reeder (Cookeville, Tenn.) was one of forty-six players to be named to the midseason watch list for the seventh annual NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award announced the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association on Friday.

The award is given to the top relief pitcher in Division I NCAA baseball. Reeder leads an elite field with a nation-best 13 saves. The junior right-hander owns a 1.77 ERA and has registered 24 strikeouts in 20.1 innings pitched.

The list includes players from 22 conferences such as sophomore right-hander Branden Kline, the closer for No. 1-ranked Virginia, and sophomore right-hander Matt Price of the defending national champion South Carolina Gamecocks.

At the conclusion of the regular season, the Division I national saves leader and four other relief pitching standouts will be selected as finalists and released Wednesday, June 1, prior to start of NCAA regional tournament competition.  The NCBWA's All-America Committee will then select the winner, with this year's recipient to be announced on the opening day of the College World Series on June 18.
