Hoilman and Reeder add to national honors

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (May 6, 2011) - Senior Paul Hoilman (Johnson City, Tenn.) and junior Bo Reeder (Cookeville, Tenn.) added to their national honors on Friday as Hoilman was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team, while Reeder joined 24 players on the John Olerud Award watch list.
Hoilman, a 2010 CoSIDA First Team Academic All-American, was named to the All-District First Team for the second straight year. The senior first baseman currently holds a 3.95 GPA in Math while hitting .323 with 15 home runs and 38 RBI.
Reeder was named to the John Olerud Award watch list for the second straight season. The Olerud Two-Way Award recognizes a player who makes an impact both on the mound and at the plate. The award will be presented in Lubbock, Texas, on July 3 as part of the College Baseball Hall of Fame's Night of Champions.
On the season, Reeder is tied for the national lead in saves with 15 and has an outstanding 1.50 ERA. The junior also is hitting .335 with 13 home runs and a team-best 49 RBI.
