JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (June 15, 2011) - Coming off of one of the best seasons in ETSU baseball history, both junior Bo Reeder (Cookeville, Tenn.) and senior Paul Hoilman (Johnson City, Tenn.) continue to add to their impressive list of postseason honors as they were named All-Americans on Wednesday.

Reeder, a 2011 Louisville Slugger First Team All-American, was named a Baseball America Third Team All-American utility player as well as a National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Third Team All-American utility player.

The Cookeville, Tenn. native was also selected to the first ever College Baseball Lineup All-Star Team as a two-way player. Reeder is currently also a finalist for the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award and a semifinalist for the Olerud Two-Way Player Award.

A 2011 Atlantic Sun All-Conference selection, Reeder posted outstanding numbers hitting .316 with 16 doubles, 15 home runs and 59 RBI as a third baseman, and also shattered the Atlantic Sun single season saves record after posting a nation-best 18 saves as a closer.  Reeder touted a 1.95 ERA on the mound limiting opponents to a .165 batting average while striking out 32 batters in 27.2 IP.

Hoilman was also named a 2011 NCBWA Third Team All-American. The senior first baseman had arguably one of the best careers in Buccaneer Baseball history after breaking numerous Atlantic Sun and ETSU career records. Hoilman hit .313 with 22 doubles, 22 home runs and 50 RBI in his senior season. During his career, the local product posted a .369 average with 83 doubles, 73 home runs, 247 RBI and 161 walks.

Both Hoilman and Reeder were recently selected in the 2011 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. For more information on Buccaneer baseball, visit ETSUBucs.com or follow the Bucs on Twitter at http://twitter.com/ETSUAthletics.
