Men’s Tennis Serves Up Fall Season

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (September 16, 2011) – On Friday, the ETSU men’s tennis team will travel to Knoxville, Tenn. for the Tennessee Fall Invitational, to be held at both Barksdale Stadium and Tyson Park.

The tournament will start at 8 a.m. on Friday, concluding on Sunday, with three singles and five doubles draws. Each singles draw will have a corresponding consolation bracket.

Student-athletes from 10 other schools will be competing in Knoxville, including Chattanooga, Davidson, Eastern Kentucky, Lipscomb, Tennessee, Tennessee Tech, Wake Forest, Winthrop, Wright State and Xavier.

Jeremy Bonnevalle (Keerbergen, Belgium) and Roger Ordeig (Gurb, Spain) will climb their way through the orange singles draw, whlile Rogerro Ribeiro and Robin Akser (Ornskoldsvik, Sweden) will play in the white singles draw. The Bucs will also have a doubles team of Ribeiro and Akser, who will compete in the orange doubles draw.
