Cold temperatures and precipitation freeze Betty Basler Field

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 21, 2013) – The ETSU softball team’s Thursday game against Murray State has been cancelled.

Wintry weather moved through Johnson City through Wednesday night and into the early morning hours Thursday, freezing Betty Basler Field and making for unsafe playing conditions. The game is not planned to be made up.

The Buccaneers host Florida Gulf Coast this weekend. The three-game series begins with a doubleheader at 1 p.m., Saturday, and concludes with the series finale Sunday at noon.
