Bucs head to Knoxville for ITA Regionals

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 10, 2013) – The ETSU men’s tennis team will continue its fall campaign this weekend, taking part in the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championship in Knoxville, Tenn.

One week after competing in the UVa Fall Classic in Charlottesville, Va., David Biosca (Sant Fruitos De Bage, Spain), Diego Nunez (Monterrey, Mexico), Roger Ordeig (Gurb, Spain), and Rogerio Ribeiro (Sao Paulo, Brazil) will represent the Buccaneers in this year’s regional championship.

Last weekend, Biosca and Nunez each finished second in their respective singles flights in the UVa Fall Classic.

Earlier in the month, Nunez and Ribeiro were able to advance to the third round of the ITA qualifiers in Tulsa, Okla.

The five-day tournament will begin Friday, Oct. 11 and wrap up Tuesday, Oct. 15.
