What’s the number one thing on your bucket list?

  • To travel all around the world! The number one place I would like to visit is England.

If you could be on any reality TV show what would it be and why?

  • I would like to be on “The Amazing Race” with teammate Ashleigh Shain, because it would be the craziest, comical, most ridiculous adventure, which I’m sure people would enjoy watching.

What is one thing you can’t live without and why?

  • I can’t live without my cell phone because that is how I communicate and keep in contact with my friends, family, and teammates.

If you were stranded on an island what are two things you would bring with you?

  • Water and tons of friends!

Is there any meaning behind your number you wear?

  • I wore #11 all throughout middle school and high school.

If you could be one person for a day, who would you be and why?

  • I would like to be Faith Hill because she’s married to Tim McGraw, and she has a successful, respectable career and has crazy good vocals!

If you weren’t playing volleyball, what sport would you play?

  • Gymnastics

Do you have a game day tradition?

  • Eat a healthy pregame meal with my roommate and then listen to music right before the game!

What are your plans after graduation?

  • Attend grad school for Audiology and someday have my own private practice.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?

  • I used to play the violin and piano.

What’s your favorite thing to do in the off-season?

  • I love going to Ashleigh Shain’s lake house to visit her family, hang out with my friends, and catch up on sleep.

Schafer and the Bucs are gearing up for a key four-match homestand, which begins Friday night against in-state rival Lipscomb. First-serve is slated for 7 p.m. inside Brooks Gym. Prior to the match, Fox’s Pizza will host a FREE Pregame Tailgate, beginning at 6 p.m., and fans can enjoy pizza (while supplies last). Also, BucWild will be giving away a set of Beats by Dre to one lucky student.
