ETSU to hold 13th annual “A Buccaneer Christmas”

Fans who bring toys to this weekend’s men’s and women’s basketball games will receive discounted admission

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 27, 2013) – In conjunction with Coalition for Kids, the ETSU Athletic Department will hold its 13th annual “A Buccaneer Christmas” Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 6:00 p.m. inside the ETSU/MSHA Athletic Center. Fans who bring toys to this weekend’s men’s and women’s basketball games will receive discounted admission.

Fans who bring a toy to Friday’s women’s basketball game at 7:00 p.m. inside Brooks Gym will receive admission to the game for just $1.00. Similarly, fans can receive a ticket to Saturday’s men’s game in Freedom Hall at 4:00 p.m. for only $5.00.

Gifts collected at the two games will be given to children from Coalition for Kids during “A Buccaneer Christmas.” The event, in its 13th year, aims to provide underprivileged children with a special Christmas experience.

Children who attend “A Buccaneer Christmas” will have opportunities to meet Santa and interact with ETSU student-athletes.
