ETSU earns 4-2 victory over Florida Gulf Coast

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Jan. 21, 2018) -- In their final match of their three match road stretch in Florida, the ETSU men’s tennis team picked up a 4-2 win over Florida Gulf Coast. The Bucs now improve to 2-1 on the season.

Bucs cruise past Florida A&M, but fall to #20 Florida State

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Jan. 20, 2018) The ETSU Men’s Tennis finished 1-1 on the day to begin their season. ETSU cruised past Florida A&M winning 4-0, but fell to #20 ranked Florida State, 4-1. Head coach Martin Stiegwardt earned his first win as a head coach and his first win at ETSU.

ETSU uses quick start, defense to drop Catamounts, 66-50

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Jan. 20, 2018) -- It took Western Carolina eight minutes of game play before scoring its first basket Saturday afternoon, and that's all the head start the ETSU men’s basketball team needed.


Women's Basketball

ETSU remains unbeaten with 61-58 win over Wofford

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Jan. 20, 2018) With 7.3 seconds remaining and a three-point lead, Wofford inbounded the ball to set up a three point shot to tie the game, but Britney Snowden (Pensacola, Fla.) jumped up and slammed the ball down to help the Bucs secure a 61-58 win. ETSU improves to 12-8 overall and 5-0 in the conference. Including today’s win and with their win on the road against Furman on Thursday, the ETSU Women’s Basketball team capped off a South Carolina road sweep.

Men’s Tennis opens season in Florida with three matches

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Jan. 19, 2018) --To open their season, the ETSU men’s tennis team will travel to the sunshine state to kick off play. The Bucs will play three matches in Tallahassee, Fla., beginning with Florida A&M, followed by Florida State later in the day. On Jan. 21, they will take on Florida Gulf Coast.

Women’s Basketball looks to stay unbeaten at Wofford on Saturday

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Jan. 19, 2018) -- After picking up a win against Furman on Thursday, the Bucs continue to play in the state of South Carolina, as they take on the Wofford Terriers on Saturday, Jan. 20 inside Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium. The Bucs are eager to pick up their fifth straight conference win.
