Bucs to face Chattanooga in season finale Saturday

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Nov. 17, 2017) -- The ETSU football team wraps up its 2017 season this Saturday when the Buccaneers face in-state conference rival Chattanooga. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at Finley Stadium.

ETSU welcomes Tennessee Tech on Friday, Duquesne on Sunday

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 16, 2017) - After playing two road games, the Bucs will host two back to back games inside Brooks Gym. They will welcome Tennessee Tech on Friday, Nov. 17 at 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, Nov. 19, they will host Duquesne at 1:00 p.m.


Volleyball

Volleyball set to play Western Carolina in SoCon quarterfinals

CULLOWHEE, N.C. (Nov. 16, 2017) - After receiving the No. 2 seed in the Southern Conference Tournament, the Bucs are set to play No. 7 seed, Western Carolina tomorrow (Friday), Nov. 17. The SoCon Tournament is hosted by Western Carolina in Cullowhee, N.C. If the Bucs win, they will play the winner of UNCG and Chattanooga.

ETSU Standout Loy in Contention for Palmer Cup

NORMAN, Okla. (Nov. 16, 2017) -- ETSU women's golfer Hee Ying Loy (Johor, Malaysia) is in the running for one of the most prestigious honors in collegiate golf -- a spot in the Arnold Palmer Cup. Event organizers announced November 15 that the Bucs junior and reigning Southern Conference Player of the Year is 19th among International players. The top 12 men's and women's players, American and International, earn spots in the Arnold Palmer Cup. The top six in the last pre-event rankings – due out next spring – automatically qualify.

Bucs set to face No. 7 Kentucky Friday night inside Rupp

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 16, 2017) -- The ETSU men's basketball team will end its season-opening, three-game road trip with its toughest challenge of the season so far, as the Buccaneers travel to face No. 7 Kentucky Friday night inside historic Rupp Arena. Tip is set for 7 p.m. and the game will air on the SEC Network.

Track and field to hold Blue and Gold intersquad meet

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 13, 2017) With the 2018 track and field season approaching in January, the ETSU track and field teams will participate in the third annual Blue and Gold intersquad meet this weekend, Nov. 17-19.

ETSU downs Appalachian State on the road 70-57

BOONE, N.C. (Nov. 15, 2017) - Stellar free-throw shooting helped the Bucs cruise to a 70-57 win against Appalachian State in ETSU's second road game of the season. The Bucs went 22-28 from the free throw line and forced the Mountaineers to commit 19 turnovers. In the fourth quarter alone, the Bucs shot 93.8% from the free-throw line.
