ASHEVILLE, N.C. (March 4, 2018) – The ETSU women’s basketball team fell to No. 25 ranked Mercer Bears in the Southern Conference Championship game. ASHEVILLE, N.C. (March 1, 2018) – A dominant 30-point second quarter propelled No. 2 seed ETSU past No. 7 Wofford on Thursday night inside the U.S. Cellular Center. MACON, Ga. (Feb. 24, 2018) – The ETSU women’s basketball team concluded their regular season today in Macon, Ga. The Bucs fell 63-48 to the No. 25 Mercer Bears on Saturday afternoon in Hawkins Arena. Mercer finishes their season with an overall record of 26-2 and went a perfect 13-0 in conference action. ETSU drops to 18-11 and 11-3 in the SoCon, but will still remain as the No. 2 seed, as they head into the conference tournament next week.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 17, 2018) -- With 2:40 left in play, Tianna Tarter (Johnson City, Tenn.) drove to the hoop, made the layup and was fouled. She made the free throw to become ETSU’s all-time career free throw leader. Prior to the game, ETSU’s three seniors; Shy Copney (Johnson City, Tenn.), Malloree Schurr (Montgomery, Texas), and Tianna Tarter were honored. The three were able to celebrate their special day with a 56-46 win over Furman, improving to 17-10 overall and 10-2 in the SoCon. Furman dropped to 16-12 and 6-7 in the SoCon.

Craig records new career-high in 87-79 loss to Western Michigan

ESTERO, Fla. (Nov. 26, 2017) The Bucs concluded day three of the Gulf Coast Showcase and fell 87-79 to Western Michigan on Sunday morning. This was ETSU’s third meeting against the Broncos since 1982. Sophomore guard Jada Craig (Winston-Salem, N.C.) recorded a new personal best of 11 points.

Bucs come up short against Washington State 80-76

ESTERO, Fla. (Nov. 25, 2017) -- For the first time in program history, the Bucs took on Washington State and came up short, falling 80-76 in day two of the Gulf Coast Showcase. Tianna Tarter (Johnson City, Tenn.) led the Bucs with 28 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

ETSU falls to No. 6 Notre Dame in opening day of Gulf Coast Showcase

ESTERO, Fla. (Nov. 24, 2017) -- On the opening day of the 2017 Gulf Coast Showcase, the Bucs fell to No. 6 Notre Dame 77-46. Notre Dame handed the Bucs their second loss of the season. Both losses have come from top 25 ranked opponents.

BOONE, N.C. (Nov. 15, 2017) - Stellar free-throw shooting helped the Bucs cruise to a 70-57 win against Appalachian State in ETSU's second road game of the season. The Bucs went 22-28 from the free throw line and forced the Mountaineers to commit 19 turnovers. In the fourth quarter alone, the Bucs shot 93.8% from the free-throw line.

ETSU Places 193 Student-Athletes on 2016-17 SoCon Honor Roll

Ezell announces the hiring of Chris Lewis
