JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 26, 2013) – With the fall athletic season completed, the ETSU softball program is preparing for the start of its regular season. Tuesday, Nov. 26, fourth-year head coach Brad Irwin released the team’s 2014 schedule.
ETSU’s schedule will consist of 56 games, 30 of which will be played at the Bucs’ home field, Betty Basler Field.
The Bucs will take part in four tournaments: the Music City Classic in Nashville, Tenn., the Panther Invitational in Atlanta, Ga., and the Buccaneer Challenge and Buccaneer Invitational in Johnson City.
ETSU will face several tough non-conference opponents, including opponents from the Big Ten and Big East conferences.
The Bucs will return 15 players from last season’s squad.
