ETSU softball completes recruiting class

Monday, May 23, 2005

(May 16, 2005) - The ETSU softball office has announced the signing of Caitlin Zyskowski (Grand Rapids, Mich.) to a national letter of intent to compete for the Lady Bucs softball squad for the 2005-2006 year.  The signing completes the recruiting class for the team as they enter their first season competing in the Atlantic Sun conference.

Playing at both the centerfield and shortstop positions, Zyskowski was a four-year letterwinner in softball, while also competing for the volleyball and basketball team's during her prep career.  An all-conference honoree in 2004 and 2005, Zyskowski will make an impact on the field for the Bucs in 2005-06.

"Caitlin is a fast-power hitting outfield/middle infielder.  She is an extremely smart ballplayer who I expect to make an immediate impact in Atlantic Sun play," ETSU assistant coach Blake Miller said.
