(May 3, 2007) - For the past month and a half the ETSU softball team have put together fundraising efforts to help support the Bluffton University baseball team and the families who lost loved ones from the March 2 bus crash by selling wristbands and T-Shirts at every home game as well as at a handful of road contests. This Friday, the Softball Bucs will make a special trip to Lexington, Ky. to deliver the donations in person and watch the Beavers take on Transylvania University at 4 p.m. inside Marquard Field....

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 27, 2007) - After dropping a 4-3 nine inning heartbreaker to Mercer in game one, the ETSU softball team bounced back nicely in game two as they shutout the Bears 8-0. The Bucs rallied back from a three-run deficit in the first game, but Crystal Condra's two-out RBI single proved to be the game winner; however ETSU's bats lit up in the nightcap, tallying seven runs in the final two innings to capture the victory in five innings....

(April 17, 2007) - A day after receiving Atlantic Sun Pitcher of the Week honors, freshman Marissa Hardy (Rocklin, Calif.) etched her name into the ETSU record books as she became the first pitcher in school history to toss a no-hitter Tuesday night. JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 20, 2006) - Members of the the Lady Bucs softball team spent Friday morning teaching a group from Science Hill Special Olympics the fundamentals of softball. The clinic was held in Memorial Center, where the team became Buccaneers for a day, learning the basics of hitting, throwing, catching and teamwork. This clinic is one of many being held for Special Olympics, as they will be able to continue learning and participating in the sport....
