Bad weather wipes out ETSU/EKU softball series

Monday, February 19, 2007

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 19, 2007) - Mother nature has been playing its course lately across the region and it ended up canceling the doubleheader between ETSU and Eastern Kentucky on Wednesday in Richmond, Ky. as snow is all ready on the ground and heavy rain is in the forecast. The series will not be made up later on this season.

The Bucs can use the break to rest up after traveling to Tampa, Fla. and playing five games in three days this past weekend. ETSU will return to action on Saturday when they head to Columbia for the South Carolina Gamecock Invitational. The Bucs will face host South Carolina on Saturday at 2 p.m.
