JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 13, 2007) - The ETSU softball team will be hosting the Blue/Gold Fall Tournament this Saturday at Metro-Kiwanis Park.

The tournament field includes Carson Newman College, Roane State Community College, Lincoln Memorial University, Hiwassee College and Milligan College. The Bucs will play Carson Newman at noon followed by Roane College at 2 p.m. and Hiwassee at 6 p.m.

Admission is free, but the Bucs will be taking donations to raise money for Tim Berta. Berta was a member of the Bluffton University Baseball Team that was involved in the bus crash last March in Atlanta, Ga. The team has adopted him into their family and is looking to help his parents who took five months off of work to be with their son in Atlanta until he was released last July. The Bucs will be selling bracelets that have "Bluffton Boys, Atlanta Bus Crash" written on them.

The Bucs will host a doubleheader against Virginia Intermont on Friday at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. at Metro-Kiwanis Park
