Chance of inclement weather pushes Softball home-opener to Friday

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 17, 2009) - With a chance of 90-percent chance of rain forecasted to hit the Tri-Cities area on Wednesday, the ETSU and Furman softball teams have decided to push tomorrow's doubleheader to Friday afternoon. First pitch inside the newly built 500-seat complex is still scheduled for 2 p.m.

 

Friday marks the home-opener for the Lady Bucs after coming off a 3-2 season-opening weekend in Charleston. Prior to the game there will be a special pregame ceremony to open the stadium.
