JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 16, 2009) - The ETSU softball team closes out its 2009 fall tournament schedule on Saturday when the Lady Bucs host Virginia Intermont, Roane State and Lincoln Memorial at the ETSU Softball Complex.

ETSU begins the morning with a 10 a.m. first pitch against the Lady Cobras of Virginia Intermont. The Lady Bucs will wrap up the day playing back-to-back games versus Roane State (4 p.m.) and Lincoln Memorial (6 p.m.).

The Lady Bucs are currently 3-1 this fall season after picking up wins over Mars Hill, King College and Milligan. ETSU has been lifted by the hot bats of freshman utility star Lucy Schneider (Dade City, Fla.) and senior outfielder Katy Jett (Talbott, Tenn.). Fellow senior Marissa Hardy (Rocklin, Calif.) earned the win in her only start of the fall last weekend against Milligan. Hardy tossed six shutout innings and struck out eight Lady Buffs' hitters.
