JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Jan. 13, 2011) - With the start of the ETSU softball season almost a month out, head coach Brad Irwin announced a couple changes to the upcoming 2011 Buccaneer schedule Thursday afternoon.

The Bucs have added a home doubleheader with in-state rival Tennessee Tech on Tuesday, April 5. First pitch is set for 4 p.m. on Betty Basler Field. In addition, a conference home game has been moved as ETSU will now play USC Upstate on Friday, May 6. Like the Tennessee Tech doubleheader, first pitch is slated for 4 p.m.

Originally, the conference series with the Spartans was scheduled to be played Saturday, May 7.

ETSU opens its season on Tuesday, Feb. 15 when the Bucs take on Tennessee at 4 p.m.
