JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 15, 2012) – After heavy rains and thunderstorms came across the Tri-Cities region on Thursday evening, the ETSU softball doubleheader with Appalachian State has been washed out due to unplayable field conditions at Betty Basler Field.

The Bucs and Mountaineers were able to get one inning of play completed before the inclement weather hit with two outs in the top of the second.

No make-up date was announced.

ETSU returns to action on Saturday afternoon when the Bucs host Presbyterian. First pitch of the non-conference doubleheader is set for 1 p.m. at Betty Basler Field.
