Softball opens fall practice; Bucs begin fall games on Sunday

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 14, 2017) – Coming off its first Southern Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in program history, the ETSU softball team has begun preparing for its title defense as the Buccaneers held their first practice of fall season last Friday at Betty Basler Field.

Scott Carter to be named new ETSU AD in September

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 22, 2017) – ETSU President Dr. Brian Noland announced Tuesday a transition plan for the leadership of the Buccaneers’ Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, as former ETSU football standout and current Senior Associate Athletic Director/Chief Operating Officer Scott Carter will assume the role of director of intercollegiate athletics in September.

ETSU Places 193 Student-Athletes on 2016-17 SoCon Honor Roll

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (July 6, 2017) – The Southern Conference released its 2016-17 academic honor roll on Thursday, and ETSU placed 193 student-athletes on the list. In total, a league-record 2,100 student-athletes from the 10 member institutions and 13 associate members earned the distinction.
