2004 Season: Posted a .333 batting average starting all 63 games for ETSU this season... Primarily played infield at the short stop position finishing the season with a .912 fielding percentage... Had 58 hits, 30 runs, and 18 extra base efforts with a total of 14 RBI for the year...

2003 Season: One of four players to play in all 54 games … finished second on the team in doubles (10), RBIs (22), and triples (2), while batting .206 … named to the all-tournament team at the Ringor Invite hosted by Winthrop after hitting a three-run homer to help defeat Michigan State in a 9-6 come-from-behind victory … went a perfect 3-3 in stolen bases on the season … collected three hits in four at bats at UNC Wilmington on March 22 and drove in three runs at Tennessee Tech on April 23 ... 2002 Season: Played in 46 games at shortstop, starting all 46 … ranked second on the team with a .269 batting average … had 28 hits in 104 at-bats, including three doubles, one triple and a home run … drove in nine runs, stole 11 bases and walked 11 times … had a .346 slugging percentage and a .345 on-base percentage … Hazelwood was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Southern Conference Tournament … batted a blistering .545 (6-11) in ETSU’s four games, tops of any player in the tournament … she also scored five runs, hit a double and drove in a run … her best game of the tournament came on May 5, as the Bucs defeated College of Charleston, 12-6 … Hazelwood went 2-3 with an RBI and two runs scored ... High School: Mary Beth earned four varsity letters for coach Mark Blevins at Bearden High School in Knoxville, Tenn. ... was named all-district, all-state and all-tournament while at Bearden ... was Bearden’s offensive and defensive MVP ... set school records for career triples and home runs ...
