2003 Season: Splitting time between catching and being the designated hitter, Clark scored 20 runs, and had 24 hits, including five doubles and a pair of home runs … played 43 games and started in 38 … helped ETSU to a 9-6 come-from-behind victory over Michigan State on March 15, 2003, by going 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs en route to earning all-tournament honors at the Ringor Invite hosted by Winthrop … put together perhaps her best defensive season yet, committing just one error and tallying a .984 fielding percentage ... 2002 Season: Clark provided the Bucs with a steady influence behind the plate, playing in and starting all 57 games … she was one of only three Bucs to start in every contest … batted .230 with 15 RBIs … led the team with 13 doubles and also scored 19 runs …had a .311 slugging percentage and a .303 on-base percentage … had a .960 fielding percentage from behind the plate … Prior to ETSU: Played one season for coach Dale Atkinson at Indian River Community College in Fort Pierce, Fla. ... was a first-team all-conference catcher ... had a .996 fielding percentage ... was first team academic all-state ... High School: Sheryl was a three-time all-conference selection at Manatee High School in Bradenton, Fla. ... won the Coach’s Award, offensive MVP, defensive MVP and Spirit Award ... was a member of the district and regional champions ... was a member of the 2000 FHSAA Senior All-Star Team ... batted .415 for her career and .478 during her senior year ... played travel softball for the Florida Diamondbacks, the four-time state champions and the 1999 NSA National Champions ...
