2004 Season: In rookie campaign posted 30 hits, including seven extra base efforts (3 doubles, two triples, two homeruns)... Hit .201 overall playing in 52 contests for ETSU with a .978 fielding percentage from the field.. Made 49 starts mainly at second base... Managed 43 total bases for the year...

High School: Gaynord earned second team all-state accolades in 2002 and 2003 while attending Osbourn High School in Manassas, Va., and she was also voted her teamís Most Valuable Player following those two seasons ... her junior season, Gaynord batted .372 and stole 18 bases ... that year she struck out just four times in 86 at bats ... collected four varsity letters as a shortstop/second baseman with the Osbourn softball team, and earned three letters each in basketball and volleyball ... Gaynord was a member of the National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America ... during the summers, Gaynord played with the Fire-n-Ice softball squad, which took fifth place at the Pony Nationals, and also with the Blue Ice Fastpitch club ... Personal: Born on August 13, 1985, and is the daughter of Anthony Patrick and Deborah Marie Gaynord ... majoring in business.
