2008: Named to the Atlantic Sun All-Academic List and Buccaneer 4.0 club … played in 61 games, making 60 starts … led the Lady
Bucs with 10 sacrifice hits and set single season personal bests in virtually every offensive category.

2007: Played in 35 games (33 starts) for the Bucs … hit .194 (13-67) scoring five runs and driving in two … was named to the Dean’s List … received A-Sun All-Academic Honors.

2006: Appeared in 51 total games, starting in 36 … posted a .959 fielding percentage, with three assists.

High School: Played shortstop for Karri Killen at Happy Valley High School … an all-Watauga Conference selection in 2003, 2005 … named to all-county team from 2003-2005 as well as all-state selection in 2005 … also an all-conference/all region cross country runner … played guard on her high school basketball team.

Personal: Daughter of Charles and Sara Powell … grandfather Tyson Jones played baseball at ETSU, and uncle Terry Morrison was on the Buccaneer golf team … received her degree in physical education in December 2008, and is currently working on a master’s in exercise science … born Sept. 15, 1987.
