Three Bucs named to Summer League All-Star games

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (July 24, 2009) Paul Hoilman (Johnson City, Tenn.), Derek Trent (Kingsport, Tenn.) and Ben Booker (Knoxville, Tenn.) each had impressive first halves in their summer leagues landing them spots as All-Stars in their respective leagues.

 

Hoilman leads the New England Collegiate Baseball League with seven home runs and 32 walks. He currently owns a .607 slugging percentage with the North Adams SteepleCats.

 

Trent has been on fire in the Southern Collegiate Baseball Leage flirting with .400 and leading the Redbirds with a .729 slugging percentage, while Booker has a 3.47 ERA with the Gastonia Grizzlies in addition to a 5-2 record an 33 strikeouts in the Coastal Plain League.
