Hoilman adds another All-American distinction to postseason honors

Paul Hoilman

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (July 28, 2009) –Sophomore Paul Hoilman (Johnson City, Tenn.) added another All-American honor to his post season accolades as he was named to the 2009 College Baseball Insider All-American Second-Team announced College Baseball Insider last week.

Hoilman finished the season hitting .380 with 19 doubles, 17 home runs, scored 55 runs, and drove in 66 while slugging an Atlantic Sun best .740. The First-Team All-Conference selection was named the A-Sun player of the Week and the Southeast Regional Player of the Week by CollegeBaseballInsider.com during the season.

The local native was named a Louisville Slugger Third-Team All-American and a Ping!Baseball Honorable Mention All-American. Currently, Hoilman is having a great summer with the North Adams SteepleCats of the NECBL (New England Collegiate Baseball League) as he ranks in the top five in the league in slugging percentage, on base percentage, RBIs, home runs, total bases and walks.
