About Sheldon: A high-energy player with the ability to help out on the boards from his guard position … a versatile player on both ends of the floor, brings a wealth of athletic ability to the roster and continues the Bucs’ pipeline to the Tampa area … can score the basketball and played for a highly successful prep team. High School: Averaged 22.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, 7.0 blocks and 5.1 steals a game during his junior season, and followed that up with 20 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 4.0 steals a game as a senior at Plant High School and was a four-year letter winner on the Panther squad … finished as his high school’s all-time leading scorer with 2,076 points for his career … was the Western Conference Player of the Year in 2007-08, a first team All-Suncoast and All-Tribune pick, and a third-team All-State Class 5A selection as a junior … along with multiple other player of the year and all-star selections.
