2008 Season: Had an outstanding freshman campaign, starting all 17 games for the Bucs ... Was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman Team ... Led the team with three goals and seven points ... Scored the game-winning goal in the program’s first victory against Wofford on Aug. 31 ... Had game-winning goals against Elon (Sept. 14) and High Point (Sept. 20) ... Recorded an assist on the Aaron Schoenfeld game-winner against USC Upstate on Oct. 19 ... Tabbed 50 shots with 19 coming on goal.

 

Prior to ETSU: Hoek comes to ETSU after an outstanding high school career where he attended Castle High School in Indiana ... At Castle, Hoek was a three-time All-State selection, a two-time All-Region selection and was a High School All-America selection in 2008 ... At the club level, Hoek played for Concorde Fire Elite in Georgia which is the third-ranked team in America ... Hoek has also represented Georgia at the ODP level in 2004 and 2005, and was a Region III team member ... After moving to Indiana, Hoek was also was named as an Indiana ODP team player and a Region II team member in 2006.
