Fall 2004: Serrano's fall season was hampered by an injury ... went 0-2 in singles and 0-1 in doubles.

2003-04: Compiled a 19-13 overall singles record in his third year ... won matches in No. 5 singles against No. 53 Louisville and No. 56 Old Dominion opponents, earning him TIAA-CREF student-athlete of the week honors for his performance ... went 18-14 overall in doubles action ... named to the All-SoCon Second Team in singles and doubles ... named to the SoCon Academic and Buc Honor Roll ... selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District IV Men’s At-Large Second Team ... also earned dean’s list honors.

2002-03: Recorded a 14-13 overall record in singles play, 6-5 in the SoCon ... primarily played in the No. 2 doubles slot, recording a 10-4 overall record with partner Diego Iglesias ... earned dean’s list honors ... named an ITA Scholar Athlete and to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.

2001-02: Serrano was named Most Outstanding Player in the 2002 Southern Conference Championships after going 2-0 in the tournament and winning two tough three-set matches... he finished the 2001-02 season on fire, winning his last five, and seven of his last eight, matches... he was 12-7 on the season, including 7-3 in Southern Conference matches... Serrano compiled a 10-5 record at No. 3 doubles, primarily with teammate Diego Iglesias... the duo went 4-3 in SoCon matches ... Serrano was a regionally and nationally ranked junior player coming out of Colombia.

Personal: Born on July 17, 1983 ... majoring in physics with a minor in math ... son of Zulma and Samuel Serrano.
