JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 2, 2007) – The ETSU women’s soccer team will close out the regular season on Saturday afternoon as they play host to USC Upstate at Summers-Taylor Stadium. The Bucs will look to gain momentum going into the Atlantic Sun Championship as they take the field at 2 p.m.

The Bucs (9-5-3, 5-4-1 A-Sun) clinched a spot in the tourney after defeating Stetson, 3-2 in double overtime on October 28 following their 1-0 victory over Florida Gulf Coast on October 26.

This will be the first ever meeting between ETSU and USC Upstate.  The Spartans (3-14-0, 1-9-0 A-Sun) fell to Florida Gulf Coast 0-1 on October 28 before falling to Coastal Carolina, 0-2 on October 31.

Prior to the start of the game seniors Hannah Johnson (Soddy-Daisy, Tenn.), Katie O’Bryan (Hampton, Va.) and Aubree Snyder (Reading, Pa.) will be honored for their commitment and dedication to the program in a small ceremony.

In honor of Senior Day Phil Bachman Toyota/Scion will be giving away ETSU fleece blankets to the first 50 fans.
