CONWAY, S.C. (Sept. 19, 2005) - Lady Buccaneer volleyball player Callie Kiselich (Colorado Springs, Colo.) was named to the Microtel Inn & Suites Classic all-tournament team, following her play in ETSU's 1-2 weekend at Coastal Carolina in Conway, S.C.

           

The sophomore swung big numbers in both ETSU's Saturday competitions, hitting a season-high .481, with 15 kills in ETSU's 3-2 loss to Coastal Carolina, and belting .423 with 13 kills in the 3-1 loss to Iowa.  The Lady Bucs also picked up a 3-0 shutout-win over North Carolina A&T, last Friday.

           

Kiselich was also strong defensively, recording 12 digs against CCU and 14 versus Iowa.    A force at the net against the Hawkeyes, Kiselich assisted in four blocks, while adding another two solo.

           

Kiselich and the Lady Bucs stand at 6-5 on the season.  The Lady Bucs head to Chattanooga, Tenn., on Tuesday, Sept. 20, to face Chattanooga at 7 p.m.  ETSU begins its inaugural season in the Atlantic Sun Conference on Friday, Sept. 23, as Campbell comes to Brooks Gym for a 7 p.m. start.
