JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 28, 2007) - Freshman Desiree Dyck (Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan) tied her season best with 18 kills, leading the ETSU volleyball team to a home opening win Tuesday night at Brooks Gym, defeating Tusculum in four games, 30-28, 30-27, 24-30, 30-21.
"I am pleased that we won our home opener," said Lady Bucs head coach Lindsey Devine. "It was a good opportunity to get everyone out on the court. "
With the win the Lady Bucs extend their record home winning streak to nine games. The streak dates back to Sept. 24, 2006 when the Lady Bucs defeated
Along with her 18 kills, Dyck also had three service aces and two blocks. Laura Waddell (
