Bucs Host Samford in Regular Season Finale

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 15, 2019) – Saturday night in Brooks Gym set to be a night full of excitement. ETSU’s volleyball team will host the Samford Bulldogs at 8 p.m. to decide the top two seeds in the tournament and possibly the outright Southern Conference title. Additionally, prior to the match, ETSU will honor Kaela Massey (Brentwood, Tenn.) and Mary Catherine Smith (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) as the two seniors on the squad.

Bucs Top Catamounts 3-1 in Defensive Battle

(Nov. 13, 2019) – The ETSU volleyball team secured the series sweep over the Western Carolina Catamounts on Wednesday evening with a 3-1 (23-25, 25-21, 25-22, 25-18) victory in Brooks Gym. Kaela Massey (Brentwood, Tenn.) moved into third place all time in block-assists, while Marija Popovic (Belgrade, Serbia) logged her 1,500th career dig.

Bucs Host Western Carolina in Midweek Match

Bucs Spoil Senior Day for the Terriers

Spartanburg, S.C. (Nov. 9, 2019) —ETSU’s volleyball team continued their Southern Conference road success with a 3-1 (25-15, 25-20, 20-25, 26-24) victory over the Wofford Terriers on Saturday afternoon. The Blue and Gold tallied 13 aces on the night, the most for the program in four years.

ETSU’s Strong Offense Leads Bucs to 3-1 Victory over The Citadel

Charleston, S.C. (Nov. 8, 2019) — ETSU’s volleyball team began their last road trip of the season with a 3-1 (25-14, 23-25, 25-16, 25-12) win over The Citadel Bulldogs on Friday night. With 11 kills on 19 attempts, Sara Esposito (Venezia, Italy) set a career-high with a .579 hitting percentage.

Bucs Head South for Final Road Test

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 7, 2019) — The ETSU volleyball team will head on the road for the final time during the Southern Conference regular season to face The Citadel Bulldogs on Friday evening and the Wofford Terriers Saturday afternoon. ETSU defeated both teams in Brooks earlier this season.

Hatch Named SoCon Offensive Player of the Week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Nov. 4, 2019) – ETSU's freshman outside hitter, Lauren Hatch (Homewood, Ill.) has been named the Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the SoCon office announced Monday afternoon. This is the first accolade of her career and eighth for the Bucs this season.

Bucs Complete Comeback Over Mocs; Hatch Ties Program Record With 29 Kills

(Nov. 2, 2019) — After losing the first set 31-29, ETSU’s volleyball team bounced back to clinch a thrilling 3-2 (29-31, 25-15, 25-20, 15-25, 15-7) win over the Chattanooga Mocs on Saturday evening to close out ETSU’s homecoming weekend. Lauren Hatch (Homewood, Ill.) tallied 29 kills to tie the program record for kills in a match.

Bucs Bring out the Brooms to Sweep the Bears

JOHNSON CITY, TENN. (Nov. 1, 2019) — ETSU’s volleyball team recorded their 11th sweep of the season with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-15) victory over the Mercer Bears on Friday evening. The Blue and Gold were led by Kaela Massey (Brentwood, Tenn.) who logged a .667 hitting percentage with 10 kills on 15 attempts.
