East Tennessee State Volleyball Falls in Finals of Western Carolina Tournament

East Tennessee State advanced to the finals, before falling to Western Carolina in three games (30-27, 19-30, 9-15) in the Catamounts tournament from Cullowhee, N.C. on Saturday, Mar. 3.

The Buccaneers defeated UNC Asheville 30-26, 30-11 in the first round of the tournament. ETSU next faced Wofford and defeated the Terriers 30-26, 30-25. The Bucs faced Western Carolina in the third round, falling to the Catamounts 26-30, 25-30. The Buccaneers then met up with Western Carolina a second time in the finals, falling 30-27, 19-30, 9-15.

The Buccaneer volleyball team will return to action as they host a tournament on Thursday, March 29, beginning at 5 p.m.
