Furman Defeats ETSU In Volleyball

GREENVILLE, SC (Oct. 28) - Four Paladins players hit over .400 to lead Furman to a 3-0 win over East Tennessee State in college volleyball action at Timmons Arena on Oct. 28.

The two teams battled through a close first game, with Furman taking a 15-9 victory. The Paladins only allowed one point over the next two games, winning game two 15-1 and game three 15-0, to avenge a 3-2 loss earlier this season to the Bucs in Johnson City.

Furman sophomore Abby Simon recorded a .467 attack percentage, tallying seven kills and seven digs, while sophomore Laura Bush hit .400 with seven kills, six assists and four blocks.

ETSU travels to Virginia Tech on Oct. 31. The game begins at 7 p.m.
