Thursday, November 07, 2002

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (November 7, 2002) - East Tennessee State's volleyball program is proud to host the first of two high school recognition days Saturday, Nov. 9, when the Buccaneers play host to College of Charleston at 2 p.m. in Brooks Gym. The special promotion will be held for high school students in the surrounding Tri-Cities area to come out and support the ETSU volleyball team as the Bucs try to parlay their late-season surge into the Southern Conference tournament. Head coach Deane Webb and the Lady Bucs are coming off two big conference victories over Wofford and Furman and hope continue their current hot streak with a win over the second-place Cougars. The final High School Recognition Day of the 2002 season will be Tuesday, Nov. 12, when the Tennessee Volunteers come to Johnson City for a match-up in Brooks Gym beginning at 7 p.m.
