Volley Bucs win seventh straight, drop UNF in four games

The Lady Bucs (16-5, 4-0) took the opening game for the fourth time in as many conference matches, with junior Callie Kiselich (
Buhr and Sartor finished the day with double-doubles, amassing 15 kills, 10 digs and 16 kills, 16 digs, respectively. Senior Crystal Palmer (
"At key moments in this match our middles and outsides took it upon themselves and stepped up," said head coach Lindsey Devine. "Sarah Buhr had a solid game, and Kaena continues to see and cover the court tremendously for us."
After taking a 2-0 match lead with a three-point game two victory, the Lady Bucs' returned from intermission sluggish for the second consecutive match, committing 12 errors and allowing three Osprey blocks in the game three loss.
The upperclassmen asserted themselves in a back-and-forth fourth frame that featured 13 ties and seven lead changes. Sartor led the way with six kills, while hitting .333, while Kiselich and Palmer each accumulated five kills and Buhr contributed three of her own.
Emerson topped 50 assists for the third consecutive match, finishing with 55, and adding two kills and 13 digs.
