BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (Sept. 15, 2007) -The ETSU volleyball team split day two at the Indiana University Adidas Classic in Bloomington, Ind. falling to 23rd ranked St. John's , 17-30, 22-30, 19-30, but coming back to defeat North Carolina Central, 30-23, 30-18, 25-30, 30-25 in the nightcap.

"I saw some good things from our team this weekend at the tournament," said head coach Lindsey Devine. "I am happy with the win in the second match. We did a good job coming back and playing well."

In the first match the Bucs freshman Laura Waddell (Lynchburg, Va.), led the team in kills with 11. Amanda Youell (Middleburg, Fla.), had 28 assists, while senior Kaena Apana (Waianae, Hawaii), led the Bucs with 14 digs. Kristan Provchy (Norton, Ohio), had four blocks against St. John's, and eight blocks on the day.

In the second match against North Carolina Central the Bucs quickly took a 2 game lead. The Bucs would lose a close game three that went back and fourth, but would put away the Eagles in the fourth game as the Bucs at point would have a commanding 10 point lead.

"Kristan Provchy and Michelle Mislan both performed great for us this weekend," Devine said. "Kristan really brings a lot of energy to this team and is all over the court for us making plays."

Waddell again led the Bucs in kills in the second match as she had 14 against North Carolina Central. Senior Michelle Mislan (Indianapolis, Ind.), also had double digit kills with 13. Callie Kiselich (Colorado Springs, Colo.) had 7 kills and 11 digs for the Bucs.
