ETSU volleyball heads to Stetson and FGCU

Thursday, September 25, 2008

DeLAND, Fla. (Sept. 25, 2008) - The ETSU volleyball team takes on conference opponents Stetson (Friday 6 p.m.) and Florida Gulf Coast (Saturday 3 p.m.) this weekend in the Sunshine state.

The Bucs (4-8, 1-4 A-Sun) look to gain momentum in the Atlantic Sun after blanking league leading North Florida last weekend in Brooks Gym.

Stetson (2-9, 0-4 A-Sun) ended its seven-game losing streak by defeating Bethune-Cookman on the road in five sets, on Tuesday night.

The Eagles (5-5, 4-0 A-Sun) are perfect in conference play, as FGCU downed Kennesaw State, Mercer, Campbell and Stetson thus far.

Both games will be broadcast live on ASun.TV. Please visit www.ETSUBucs.com for more information on ETSU volleyball and all other Buccaneer athletic news.
