JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 10, 2013) – Each week during the volleyball season members of the ETSU volleyball team will be featured in a segment called “Getting to Know You.”

The first player to be featured is freshman setter Kristen Favre (Plano, Texas). During the preseason, the players were given the questionnaire, which are listed below, and each of them submitted their answers. Below are the responses by Favre:

  • I don’t watch reality TV… It’s not reality

What is one thing you can’t live without?

  • My family

If you were stranded on an island what are two things you would bring with you?

  • A boat and water

Is there any meaning behind your number you wear?

  • I’ve always been #2 for any sport I’ve played

If you could be one person for a day, who would you be and why?

  • Helen Keller, it would be interesting to understand how she perceived everything and how she worked through her disabilities to be able to live.

If you weren’t playing volleyball, what sport would you play?

  • Basketball or Tennis

Do you have a gameday tradition?

  • Not yet but I will soon!

What are your plans after graduation? 

  • I want to go to Physical Therapy school

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?

  • I like to draw and paint

What’s your favorite thing to do in the off-season?

  • Sleep
