CLEMSON, S.C. (Sept. 13, 2015) – Sophomore Rylee Milhorn (Kingsport, Tenn.) and Hailey Aguilar (Oswego, Ill.) were named to the all-tournament team at the Clemson Classic late Saturday evening. It is the second all-tournament team nod for both players this season as the duo was also named to the Troy Invitational All-Tournament team last weekend.
Milhorn notched a double-double in each of the three matches over the weekend to give her four consecutive matches with a double-double. The Kingsport, Tenn. native also finished second on the team with 42 kills (4.20 per set), while committing just 13 errors in 108 attempts (.269 hitting percentage). Milhorn also led the team with four service aces and tallied 41 digs (4.10 per set).
Aguilar posted double-digit dig totals in each of the three matches at Clemson. The Oswego, Ill. native led the Bucs with 51 digs overall (5.10 per set) to go along with three service aces and eight assists. The freshman libero has led the Bucs in digs in seven of their nine matches this season.
As a team, the Bucs went 2-1 at the Clemson Classic picking up a pair of sweeps over previously-unbeaten USC Upstate and Presbyterian College but falling to Clemson, 3-1.
The Bucs will return to action this weekend when they take part in the Comfort Inn-Vitational in Morehead, Ky. ETSU will take on Marshall, Morehead State and Akron in the invitational.
