BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (November 21, 2016) – After the conclusion of the Southern Conference Tournament Championship game on Monday, the all-tournament team was announced with junior Rylee Milhorn (Kingsport, Tenn.) earning the all-tournament recognition.
In ETSU’s quarterfinal victory over Furman on Saturday, Milhorn recorded her eighth double-double of the season with a match-high 19 kills to go along with 17 digs. Against the Paladins, Milhorn had a staggering hitting percentage of .370.
Milhorn nearly had another double-double in the Bucs semifinal contest against Samford registering eight kills and nine digs while hitting .231.
This season Milhorn ranked second on the team in kills (325) and digs (314) while having 37 blocks and 17 service aces. Milhorn ranked ninth this season in the SoCon in kills per set at 3.04. Earlier this season Milhorn earned her first career SoCon Offensive Player of the Week honor and was named the DoubleTree Hotel Buccaneer Challenge Most Valuable Player.
