Aguilar, Kvarta, and Milhorn reach 1,000 career milestones

BLACKSBURG, Va. (September 16, 2017) – It was an exciting day for the ETSU volleyball team as three players reached career milestones in Friday’s match against Radford.

Junior libero Hailey Aguilar (Chicago, Ill.) recorded her 1,003 dig. So far this season Aguilar has 91 digs. She finished her freshman year with 457 digs and her sophomore year with 455 digs.

Junior setter Alyssa Kvarta (Crown Point, Ind.) reached 1,017 career assists after a stellar double-double performance. She finished the Radford match with 24 assists and ten digs. Kvarta finished her freshman season with 134 assists and then finished with 639 assists during last year’s campaign. She’s currently at 244 assists for this season.

Lastly, senior outside hitter Rylee Milhorn (Kingsport, Tenn.) tallied her 1,000 career dig. Her double-double performance of 24 kills and 13 digs helped her reach 1,010 digs. Last week, Milhorn recorded her 1,000 kill. So far this season, she has earned a preseason honor, two all-tournament team recognitions, and two back to back TSWA Volleyball Player of the Week awards.
