Leah Clayton (Danville, Va.), AJ Lux (Shelbyville, Ind.), Braedyn Tutton (Courtice, Ontario), and Mariah McPartland (Boone, Iowa) were also impressive with their kills and digs. Hailey Aguilar (Chicago, Ill.) and Marija Popovic (Belgrade, Serbia) also split time on the back row as liberos/defensive specialists.

A LOOK AT CLEMSON: Clemson went 7-25 last season and 2-18 in the ACC. The Tigers were predicted 12th in the ACC Coaches’ Poll. Junior Kaylin Korte was named to the ACC Preseason Poll. She led the Tigers with 349 kills. Clemson is under the leadership of Michaela Franklin, entering her second season.

A LOOK AT SOUTH CAROLINA: South Carolina went 12-18 overall and 5-13 in the SEC. They return 12 letterwinners and only lose two, while welcoming six newcomers. Tom Mendoza is in his first season with Gamecocks. South Carolina finished 12th in the SEC last season.

A LOOK AT TEXAS A&M CORPUS CHRISTI: Texas A&M Corpus Christi finished last season with a record of 15-14, while finishing 11-5 in the Southland Conference. The Islanders finished third last season. Heading into the 2018 season, the Islanders have no seniors and will mostly be led by their 8 freshmen.
