MACON, Ga. (Oct. 12, 2018) – With their third SoCon road game, the Bucs (17-5, 6-1 SoCon) earned their sixth conference win of the season after defeating the Mercer Bears (9-10, 2-6 SoCon) 3-1 (25-15, 25-23, 23-25, 26-24) on Friday night in Macon, Ga.
“We had some moments of perfect execution and then we had some moments where we are still figuring things out,” said Coach Devine. “I keep telling our players that every team in our conference is working hard to get better. Everybody is going to bring their best game against us and we have to accept that challenge. We need to view that as respect. I really liked the conversations after the match. Players recognizing where we have made progress, but also understanding that there is still much to learn.
