2011 Season
Named to the Atlantic Sun All-Academic List … played in 30 matches, while making her collegiate debut on Aug. 26 vs. Evansville … tallied four double-doubles and posted double figures in kills seven times during her rookie campaign … finished with a season-high 22 kills in the 3-2 win over Kennesaw State in the A-Sun Tournament (11/17) … registered her first collegiate double-double (19 kills/10 digs) in the win against Coastal Carolina (8/27) … provided the Blue and Gold with a 13-kill, 19-dig performance in the win at USC Upstate (11/5) ... was second on the team in service aces (22).
About Rice
She was a four-year letterwinner for head coach Kim Hyatt at Science Hill HS...Was a three-time all-conference, all-tournament and team MVP… Helped lead the 2007 team to a 47-6 record, which is the best in school history… During her senior season, Rice compiled 356 kills, 265 digs, 38 solo blocks, while hitting .311.
Personal
Daughter of Ren and Stacy Rice…born on July 2, 1993…Has a sister, Sydney, that plays volleyball at Freed-Hardeman University…plans to major in bio medical.
