2006 Season: Saw action in all matches in 2006... Second on the team in serve aces with a total of 27 including a season-high four aces in the match against Campbell (9/30/06)…match high 31 assists versus Milligan (11/9/06)…ranked fourth on the team in total digs (255) and digs per frame (2.34)…recorded a match-high 17 digs against Chattanooga (10/3/06).

   

Prior to ETSU: Second-team All-Region selection in 2004 and 2005 while at Lake Land College ... named an academic All-American in 2006.

 

High School: A two-year letterwinner in volleyball while also lettering in softball at Elk Grove High School ... earned All-Area honorable mention in 2002 ... named to both the All-Area and All-Conference teams in 2003.

 

Personal: Born on July 14, 1986 ... daughter of Jeffrey and Kathleen Mortensen ... pursuing a degree in nursing.
